Tunuba is a Darumbal business.

Tunuba is the traditional name of the mighty Fitzroy River for the Darumbal People.

We have chosen Tunuba as the name of our joint venture to deliver a range of land management services to support the development of local Indigenous People and Businesses on Darumbal country / Rockhampton region.

We will partner with capable businesses who share our visions.

Our initial priority is to secure contracts with major developments in the Rockhampton/ Capricorn Coast Region, such as the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative (ASMTI) at Shoalwater Bay Training Area.

Darumbal People as the Native Title Holders, have entered into an Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) with the Australian Defence Force that commits to maximising training and employment of Native Title Holders and business development and contracting opportunities for Darumbal Businesses at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area.

Tunuba’s sub consultancy CQG has a reputable track record as an environmental, engineering and planning consultancy and has established working relationships with Traditional Owner groups throughout Queensland.
